One thing that is pointed out to me over the years is that if your website is older and displaying quality content, it will usually rank higher on search engines. But the thing is that if you don’t make consistant changes it will start to fall. Websites are supposed to be constantly changing, or a better word for that is evolving. Search engines are looking for this. One of the reasons in my opinion is that they first of all want to be sure that your business is still around, and they also want to know that you are current with the products and services that you are doing.
Websites are evolving, and the way people look for businesses online is also evolving. Websites and webmasters need to constantly be changing the content of their website not just for search rankings, but also for the simple fact that services and products change.
